The rules are simple ..
1. Read at least 6 books that have any of these requirements:
- a. an animal in the title of the book
- b. an animal on the cover of the book
- c. an animal that plays a major role in the book
- d. a main character that is or turns into an animal (define that however you'd like ;>)).
2. The animal can be any type of animal (real or fictitious)--dog, cat, monkey, wolf, snake, insect, hedgehog, aardvark...dragons, mermaids, centaurs, fairies, vampires...you get the idea...
3. Challenge runs from July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009. You can still sign up after July 1st as long as you can get 6 books read by June 30th ;>).
4. Books can be fiction or nonfiction.
5. You may make a list of books at the beginning of the challenge or just list them as you find them.
6. Books may be swapped out at anytime (assuming you made a list to begin with).
7. Crossover books with other challenges is permitted and encouraged.
8. You don't have to blog or write a review, but you can if you want to.

wow..i think me n u can become really really REALLY good friends..almost best friends :P i cant believe someone is as in-love with books as i am.. except i really dont make time to read anymore :( i have like 2 shelves of books i own that i havent read yet..i just wanna OWN them and hug them whenever i want to :P
im so joining this challenge.. but how come ur list only includes 2 books..im confused..didnt u say they had to be six? wella u still didnt make up ur mind about the rest?

Yes they are only two on my list because those are the books I read so far, I was planning to add the books I'm planning to read as soon as I get a chance to do that.. will post it soon!
Tell me about the books, I have dozens of books that I bought when I travelled to Malaysia that are still celephane wrapped :P I'll get to them one day hopefully before I die that is!
Other than the tons of ebooks that I'm totally into these days after I bought my Sony ereader last year!
I was amazed to find someone into books here (in Jeddah), cuz all my friends and most close family relitives are either not into books or not into blogging! Actually I'm kinda new here too, just updating the looks of my two blogs this past week.
I hope we do become friends, BTW I'm a mom of 4 don't ask me how I get the reading in between :P
